Dedicated to providing first rate care, Country Lodge is run by our Manager, Mrs Deborah Spokes and her team of qualified Care Staff, Housekeeper and Cleaners, Chef and Kitchen Assistants, Handyman and Gardener.
Our staff are committed to providing the very best quality of nursing care, comforts of home and companionship for our residents. This is achieved by ensuring that they receive the highest level of training in all areas. Both our Manager and her Deputy have the Registered Manager’s Award Level 5 and many of our staff have achieved NVQ level 3. There is always at least one trained Nurse on duty 24 hours a day together with the other staff.
Our latest inspection report dated 20th May 2017 (visit www.cqc.org.uk to view) gave us a full complement of green ticks for each of the key standards of care and management under our Quality and Risk Profile, testament to our commitment to providing first rate care. Although the Care Quality Commission no longer operates their star rating system the above achievement is equivalent to their previous top 3-stars accolade.
